How to simplify fractions?

A alloyed amount consists of an accumulation followed by a able fraction.

Example: The abnormal atom 8/5 can be afflicted to the alloyed amount 1 3/5 by adding the numerator (8) by the denominator (5). This gives a caliber of 1 and a butt of 3. The butt is placed over the divisor (5).
